9Pandas CEO Refutes Club Closure Speculation

Julia Sotnikova, CEO of 9Pandas, has announced that the esports club will continue its operations. She addressed rumors regarding the organization`s potential shutdown in a statement.

Sotnikova stated:

“The rumors are false. 9Pandas Esports is not closing down.”

Earlier, insider Alexey “OverDrive” Biryukov suggested that 9Pandas might close. According to his information, the club needs to find a new main sponsor to replace a departing company to remain active in the esports scene.

Insider Vladislav “harumi” Radvilovich also commented on these rumors, mentioning that speculation about 9Pandas closing had surfaced as early as December 2024. Radvilovich added that Sotnikova herself is allegedly already involved in another project.

9Pandas was founded in April 2022. A few months later, the club signed a Counter-Strike roster, and in 2023, began working with a Dota 2 roster. However, at the time of this report, the organization does not have a team in the Dota 2 discipline.
