Activision Blizzard has announced its decision to cease support for the mobile shooter Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile. The studio shared this update through the game`s social media platforms.
The developers cited unsatisfactory audience engagement metrics as the reason for *Warzone Mobile*`s shutdown. While the game will no longer receive new content updates, server access and cross-progression functionality with the PC version of the game will continue to be supported. Players will no longer be able to purchase in-game currency in *Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile* starting May 16th. The game is scheduled to be removed from the App Store and Google Play on May 18th.
Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile initially launched in March 2024 and is available on both iOS and Android devices.
