FX Networks and the streaming service Hulu have announced the premiere date for the highly anticipated series titled “Alien: Earth”.
The debut of the show is scheduled for August 12th. The first season will comprise eight episodes in total. The initial two episodes will be available on the premiere day, with subsequent installments released weekly every Tuesday.
Set in the late 21st century, the series takes place many years before the narrative unfolded in the original “Alien” film. The plot centers on a mysterious vessel crashing onto Earth, unleashing xenomorphs upon the planet. The story follows a young woman named Wendy and a unit of special forces soldiers as they are forced to confront and battle the extraterrestrial threat. The series is directed by Noah Hawley, known for his acclaimed work on the television adaptation of “Fargo”.
