Amazon Prime Video has released the premiere trailer for the second season of its fantasy series “Gen V”. The trailer is available for viewing on YouTube.
“Gen V” is a spin-off of the popular show “The Boys”. Its storyline is inspired by the comic arc “We Gotta Go Now” and unfolds concurrently with the events of the main series` third season. The story centers on gifted teenagers training at a specialized university under the strict control of Vought International, where they must fight for survival.
Unfortunately, on March 30, 2024, tragic news broke about the death of 27-year-old actor Chance Perdomo in a car accident. He played one of the key roles – Andre Anderson, a student with the ability to control metal. Due to this loss, filming for the second season was temporarily suspended. Later, the show`s creators confirmed their decision not to replace the actor and not to recast the character.
