The anime series “Torture Time, Princess!” (Himesama `Goumon` no Jikan desu) is a comedy about a young princess who, after being captured by enemies, finds herself in a world of delicious food and video games. This anime is based on the manga by Robinson Haruhara and illustrated by Hirakei.
Season 1 of the anime aired from January to March 2024. Shortly after its conclusion, the creators announced that they were working on a sequel. While there is no precise premiere date yet, the second season of “Torture Time, Princess!” is expected to be released no earlier than autumn 2025.
The exact number of episodes for the second season is currently unknown. It is presumed that, like the first season, it will consist of 12 episodes. Studio Pine Jam, which animated the first season, will also be responsible for the animation of the continuation.
The story follows a human princess captured by demons during a war between humans and demons. In an attempt to extract valuable information, the demons resort to special “torture” methods. The princess is surrounded by tasty food, engaging video games, and various forms of entertainment. In the second season, viewers can anticipate new humorous scenes filled with appetizing dishes and fun adventures of the main character, who readily divulges her kingdom`s secrets to the enemy.
