Raphael “arrozdoce” Wing, a member of the Ninjas in Pyjamas Counter-Strike 2 lineup, spoke about his team advancing to the PGL Astana 2025 playoffs and assessed the strength of his squad. He shared his thoughts in a recent interview.
When we first assembled the team, we understood it would be tough because we started from scratch. Our only chance was to play in the open qualifiers and fight our way here, and I always believed in the team because we are very strong. We are improving every day, with every match. I didn`t expect us to make it to the playoffs when I started playing in the open qualifiers, but yes, I feel great now.
Asked about ranking the team after suffering losses only to strong teams like Spirit and Aurora, he replied:
I would place us in the top 10 or at least top 15 among Tier 1 teams because we are a Tier 1 team. We don`t have the necessary points yet, but in terms of skill level, yes.
Ninjas in Pyjamas are scheduled to play against Team Spirit in the quarterfinals of PGL Astana 2025 on May 16th. The match is set to begin at 17:00 MSK.
