Artem “Fng” Barshak Discusses TI 2025 Qualifier Slots

Former professional Dota 2 player Artem “Fng” Barshak recently shared his thoughts on the distribution of slots for The International 2025 via regional closed qualifiers. The ex-esports athlete expressed surprise regarding the allocation, particularly noting that Eastern Europe received only a single spot in the tournament`s main stage.

He commented:

Invites to the Int are within what was expected, but one slot for Eastern Europe and two for SEA is an unreal meme)

The International 2025 is scheduled to be held from September 4 to 14 in Hamburg, Germany. The tournament will feature a total of 16 competing teams. On the night of May 15, the organizers provided details about the upcoming regional qualifiers and also revealed the names of the eight teams that have received direct invitations to the main event.
