Aurora Gaming Owner Wagers ₽12 Million Skins Against Potato Farming for Nemiga at BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025

The owner of the esports organization Aurora Gaming, Valeriy “L3rich” Kharitonov, has reportedly made a significant wager with the players of Nemiga Gaming. He shared the unusual terms of the bet via a post on Telegram.

According to Kharitonov, he has provided the Nemiga squad with CS2 skins valued at a staggering ₽12 million (approximately $130,000 USD). The condition? If Nemiga successfully qualifies for the playoff stage at the upcoming BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025, the players will get to keep these high-value items. However, if they fail to reach the playoffs, the penalty is a day of manual labor – specifically, they will be sent to a farm to dig potatoes.

Kharitonov elaborated on the wager, detailing that the ₽12 million skin package included specific high-tier items for each player, such as AWP Gungnir, AWP Dragon Lore, various rare knives (Ruby, Emerald), and expensive gloves. He added that success (making playoffs) would potentially lead to another skin giveaway (M4A4 Howl, Butterfly Knife Sapphire) hosted by Aurora, while failure would result in a giveaway of “several bags of potatoes, personally harvested by the Nemiga guys.” Kharitonov also hinted at a third condition for the bet currently under discussion.

This bet comes after Aurora Gaming reportedly assisted Nemiga Gaming in securing their US visas necessary to compete at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The Major itself is scheduled to run from June 2nd to June 22nd in Austin, Texas, USA. It will feature 32 teams, including other notable squads like Team Spirit, Aurora Gaming themselves, and several other Russian-speaking teams, all competing for a share of the $1.25 million prize pool.
