Aurora Gaming has successfully claimed the third position at the PGL Astana 2025 CS2 tournament by defeating FURIA Esports in the match for the bronze medal. The series concluded with a 2-1 score in favor of the Turkish team. After losing the first map Anubis 10:13, Aurora Gaming bounced back with decisive 13:6 victories on both Inferno and Dust2 to clinch the match.
For their performance and securing third place, Aurora Gaming was awarded $75,000. FURIA Esports, led by Gabriel `FalleN` Toledo, finished fourth in the tournament and received $43,750 in prize money.
The grand final of PGL Astana 2025 will see Astralis face off against Team Spirit. This championship match is scheduled to be a best-of-5 series and is set to begin on May 18 at 15:00 Moscow time.
PGL Astana 2025 is being held in Kazakhstan from May 10 to May 18. The top teams in CS2 are competing for a substantial total prize pool of $625,000.
