Paramount Pictures has unveiled a new poster for the upcoming comedy film `The Naked Gun`. The image was shared on social media platforms. According to the film`s creative team, the poster was developed entirely without the use of artificial intelligence.
This new `Naked Gun` movie serves as both a remake and a sequel to the original film series. Liam Neeson, known for roles in `Schindler`s List` and `The A-Team`, stars as Frank Drebin Jr., the son of the protagonist from the earlier movies. The film is currently slated for release on August 1, 2025.
The original `The Naked Gun`, which was itself an adaptation of the TV series `Police Squad!`, first premiered in 1988. This comedy was famous for its parody of police dramas and programs. Leslie Nielsen, star of `Airplane!` and `Wrongfully Accused`, played the lead role in the original film, which spawned two sequels.
