Esports organization BC.Game has addressed the incident involving their CS2 team player, Joakim “jkaem” Myrbostad, and allegations of skin theft. The club`s statement was shared on social media.
“While we were not involved in these past events, we take this matter seriously. We do not condone such behavior but believe in giving second chances if a player takes responsibility. After speaking with jkaem, he fully admitted his actions and agreed to a plan to repay his financial obligations.”
“Since this incident happened before he joined BC.Game, we have decided to support him in this situation. If he fails to meet the conditions and compensate for the damage, we will take necessary measures.”
“If you have been affected by this situation, please contact us via direct message with relevant evidence so we can help jkaem review his repayment plan.”
Previously, jkaem was accused of stealing skins. A user on X reported lending cosmetic items to Myrbostad for his participation in BLAST.tv Paris Major 2023. Subsequently, the esports player gambled them away and for a year ignored the victim, making excuses and promising returns that never materialized. Eventually, jkaem took responsibility for the lost skins and pledged to compensate for the damage.
