According to an insider report from MyTimeToShineHello, 21-year-old actress Bella Ramsey, known for her roles in acclaimed series like “Game of Thrones” and “The Last of Us,” is potentially being considered for a part in the upcoming X-Men reboot within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
Specifically, the rumor suggests Marvel Studios is looking at Ramsey for the role of Kitty Pryde. Kitty Pryde is a prominent mutant character from the X-Men universe, possessing the ability to “phase” or pass through solid objects by manipulating her body`s atoms. The character has a long history in X-Men comics and media, including previous film appearances where she was portrayed by Ellen Page (now Elliot Page) in the 20th Century Fox movies.
This casting speculation emerges alongside other recent developments concerning the MCU`s X-Men project. It was previously reported that Jake Schreier, director of the upcoming “Thunderbolts” film, is attached to direct the new X-Men movie.
