The distributor NMG Kinoprokat has released the full trailer for the movie “Buratino.” The video introduces the main cast of the upcoming film and offers a brief preview of the storyline. The iconic song “Buratino” is used as the soundtrack in a fresh interpretation.
Starring in “Buratino” are Vitaliya Kornienko as Buratino, Alexander Yatsenko as Papa Carlo, Fedor Bondarchuk as Karabas-Barabas, Alexander Petrov as Basilio, Victoria Isakova as Alice, Mark Eidelstein as Artemon, Ruzil Minekaev as Arlekin, and Anastasia Talyzina as Malvina. The film is directed by Igor Voloshin (“Stormbreaker”).
“Buratino” is set to be released in cinemas on January 1, 2026. While based on Alexei Tolstoy`s “The Golden Key, or the Adventures of Buratino” and the Soviet-era film of the same name, the trailer suggests that there will be deviations from the original plot.
