Božidar “bzm” Bogdanov, the midlaner for Tundra Esports` Dota 2 team, recently shared insights into the decision-making process behind picking Invoker in the fourth game of the BLAST Slam III grand final. He provided these details during a post-victory interview following their win at the tournament.
It was time to bring some heroes back into the pool. He [Invoker] had been dead for a whole month, but the time was right.
I`m the one who primarily suggests picking Invoker. However, we had tested him in practice beforehand. If it performs well, then MoonMeander [the coach] might propose picking it; if not, he wouldn`t consider it.
BLAST Slam III took place in Copenhagen, Denmark, from May 6 to 11, featuring a substantial $750,000 prize pool. Tundra Esports claimed the championship title by defeating Team Falcons with a final score of 3-1 in the grand final match.
