Actor Chris Evans, known for his role as Captain America in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, revealed that he still keeps in touch with his former “Avengers” co-stars, even after the cast announcement for the next movie. He shared his thoughts on this feeling in a recent interview.
“I`m always talking to them,” Evans stated. “It`s sad to be on the sidelines. It`s sad not to be with our group. But I`m sure they`ll create something amazing. And I`m sure it will be much harder when the movie comes out and I feel like I wasn`t invited to the party.”
Titled “Avengers: Doomsday,” the film is the fifth entry in the “Avengers” saga. Filming reportedly commenced in late April 2025. The movie is expected to feature over 20 returning Marvel stars, notably including Robert Downey Jr., who is rumored to play Doctor Doom in this installment, rather than reprising his iconic role as Iron Man.
