Cloud9 CEO Denies NAVI Junior Purchase Rumors

The esports organization Cloud9 does not intend to re-enter the Counter-Strike 2 scene. This was confirmed by the head of the organization, Jack Etienne, in a comment made on a reddit post discussing related rumors.

On June 24, French insider Sebastien krL Perez had stated that Cloud9 was considering purchasing a CS2 roster. According to his claims, the club was interested in acquiring the Natus Vincere Junior lineup. However, the CEO of C9 clarified that these reports are merely speculation and the organization is not planning to buy the team. “This is false. Sorry, guys,” Etienne commented on reddit.

Previously, krL had shared several other insider details. He claimed that Ilya Perfecto Zalutskiy would replace Boris magixx Vorobiev in Team Spirit. Furthermore, Perez suggested that Natus Vincere might remove Justinas jL Lekavicius and Ivan iM Mihai from their roster. As of the time of publication, these and other rumors have not been officially confirmed. Separately, insider Vladislav harumi Radvilovich has commented that much of krL`s information is often inaccurate.
