Team Spirit`s offlaner, Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov, shared his thoughts on their match against PARIVISION in the BLAST Slam III Dota 2 playoffs. He discussed the game and his analysis in a video message on the team`s Telegram channel.
“Hey everyone. We played against PARIVISION today and won 2-1. What can I say? They were intense games. The second one didn`t quite go our way, but the first game was generally fine. Hmm, I don`t even remember what happened in the first one… Ah, right, we couldn`t initiate on them properly because they had Earthshaker and Ancient Apparition – I`d jump in and get killed. But we managed to take it to the late game and win.
About the second game? There are a couple of ways to look at it: we could have won that game (it would have been tough, but possible), or we could have gotten completely stomped – that`s also true. The reason we lost was that Morphling ended up being an uncontestable hero for three of our core heroes; he beats everyone. He has two stuns, and we only had one on Storm Spirit, which made it difficult.
As for the third game – it was simply Magnus. There`s not much more to say. Gyrocopter also worked really well for us, but for some reason, they didn`t ban it against Enigma, maybe hoping Ilyukha (presumably Yatoro, the carry) wouldn`t play it effectively, but he did.”
Team Spirit faced PARIVISION in the second round of the BLAST Slam III playoffs. Collapse`s squad secured a 2-1 victory, eliminating Vladimir “No[o]ne” Minenko`s team from the tournament. Team Spirit is now set to play against Team Tidebound in the next round.
