Collapse Shares Thoughts on Unique BLAST Slam III Format

Team Spirit offlaner Magomed “Collapse” Khalilov shared his perspective on the unusual format of the BLAST Slam III Dota 2 tournament. In a vlog published on the team`s YouTube channel, he also highlighted that the squad prioritized working on drafts ahead of this event.

[Question: `What conclusions were drawn after the last tournament?`] Just work on drafts, that`s all. That`s all that`s needed. That`s the most important thing. I think everyone`s individual form is fine.

Collapse mentioned that he found the BLAST Slam III format interesting, but otherwise, the tournament doesn`t feel significantly different from others for him.

[Playing five best-of-one matches in one day] is a new experience. To be honest, I`m a bit happy, but it`s very difficult.

Yeah, it`s just a tournament like any other. Honestly, there`s nothing to say. I go from one tournament to another, I play, and essentially little changes – only this system is somewhat new. But I`m playing against the same teams.

Team Spirit finished in the last place in Group A at BLAST Slam III and began their playoff run from the first round. The team then defeated Team Liquid and PARIVISION. In the quarterfinals, the roster will face Team Tidebound.
