Andreas Franck `Cr1t-` Nielsen, a player for Team Falcons Dota 2 roster, has shared his opinion on the hero Ringmaster. Nielsen mentioned that he initially disliked the new hero, but over time Ringmaster has become one of his favorites. He spoke about this in a video on the PGL YouTube channel.
“It`s funny how all the new heroes that come out, conceptually I don`t like them at first, and then I end up playing them more than anyone else. So, I don`t know how it works. Ringmaster I disliked the most. In my opinion, he felt kind of clunky after release. I thought I wouldn’t play him, but now I’m enjoying it.”
[Question: `What exactly do you like about Ringmaster`s gameplay?`] “I think it`s his `box` [likely referring to a skill]. It`s quite a unique save skill. I like playing Shadow Demon, and they are similar in this ability. Then I understood how the ultimate and `whip` work. I think it`s quite fun. It requires high skill to do everything correctly.”
Ringmaster was added to Dota 2 on the night of August 23, 2024. On February 19, 2025, the hero appeared in Captain`s Mode. At the time of publication, Ringmaster has a 49.98% win rate, according to Dotabuff.
