CS2 Fan Discovers Player Color Performance in Matches

A user named CPU19 conducted a study to see if there`s a connection between a player`s assigned color in CS2 and how well they perform statistically.

CPU19 collected data from opponents after 50 matches. He awarded points based on leaderboard position: 5 points for the top stat player, down to 1 point for fifth. He then totaled these points for each color, noting how often each color finished first and last. To avoid bias, he excluded his own team`s results, as his good server connection often gave him his preferred color.

The findings indicated that green-tagged players performed best overall, accumulating 160 points and achieving top leaderboard positions in 20% of matches. Orange and purple players performed worst, ending up with the lowest stats in 26% and 28% of matches, respectively. Orange-tagged players were also the most frequent to be at the bottom of the scoreboard.
