Lydia Zanotti, known for her work on the updated Overpass and Italy maps for Counter-Strike 2, recently shared on her X account that she experienced a significantly higher volume of threats while working on Valorant compared to her time working on CS2.
Working on Valorant, I received significantly more death threats than when I worked on CS. Threats usually relate to my gender, but sometimes people just write cruel things. I make video games to bring joy. Nobody deserves [such messages].
Zanotti`s portfolio includes contributions to various maps across both titles, such as Overpass, Italy, and Baggage in CS2, and Split, Bind, Ascent, Haven, Icebox, and Breeze in Valorant. She is currently an employee at Blizzard.
