On July 3rd, Counter-Strike 2 developers released an update adding new in-game items themed around the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. This update introduced playoff highlight keychains and a special capsule containing autographs from the victorious Team Vitality roster.
The BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 tournament took place from June 3rd to 22nd as a LAN event held in the United States. Thirty-two competing teams vied for a total prize pool of $1.25 million. Team Vitality claimed the championship title after defeating The Mongolz with a 2:1 scoreline in the grand final match.
