Abdul “degster” Gasanov, the sniper for Team Falcons, expressed his emotions after securing victory at PGL Bucharest 2025 in CS2. The esports player shared his comments on stage immediately following the decisive match.
“Firstly, thank you to everyone who supported us, the feeling is incredible. This is my first trophy, and I have worked incredibly hard for this moment. For some of my teammates, this is also their first major tournament win. It feels like it has taken me seven or eight years to get here. I don`t even know how to properly lift the cup. I want to say to all viewers and those aspiring to become professional players: it can be tough sometimes, you might face many challenges, but the most important thing is the effort you put in and your belief in the result. Sometimes circumstances are against you, but you need to keep working and moving forward.”
“Honestly, it wasn`t easy. In some moments, when we were in the lead, I tried to stop myself from thinking about it. Because when you go towards a goal for so long, it`s hard to control emotions, and I did my best to stay focused to help my team win this tournament. I am grateful to my teammates—you guys are in my life forever, with you I won my first trophy, I love you all.”
