Sony Pictures Entertainment has officially released the trailer for the upcoming anime film “Demon Slayer: Infinity Castle” (Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Jou-hen).
“Infinity Castle” is set to be the first installment in a planned trilogy that will bring the popular anime series to a conclusion. The story centers around the main characters as they find themselves trapped within a mysterious fortress filled with hostile demons. The movie is scheduled for a theatrical release, including IMAX showings, starting September 12, 2025.
The “Demon Slayer” franchise is an adaptation of the highly successful fantasy manga series. Set in Japan during the early 20th century, the narrative depicts a world where humanity is threatened by demons. The anime series first aired in 2019 and quickly garnered critical acclaim and popularity, reflected in its strong ratings: 8.6 out of 10 on IMDb and 8.2 out of 10 on Kinopoisk.
