Danil “Dendi” Ishutin, a famous esports player and streamer, recently shared his opinions on League of Legends and Dota 2. He spoke about this comparison during his Twitch stream.
Dendi mentioned that he played around 2,000 matches in League of Legends. His goal was quite amusing: he wanted to climb to the highest rank in LoL and then post on their forums that Dota 2 is the better game.
When comparing the two popular games, Dendi used an analogy. He likened Dota 2 and League of Legends to chess and checkers. In his view, League of Legends is like checkers with a smaller board, while Dota 2 is like chess with a much larger and more complex board.
He also noted that League of Legends has evolved significantly over its 15 years. Dendi admitted he`s not entirely sure what kind of game League of Legends is now, but he confidently stated that Dota 2 remains superior in his eyes.
In related news, Dendi previously commented on his victory at the Warcraft III Reforged tournament, OnlyFangs Invitational. He won first place in this competition, revealing that he had consulted with professional Warcraft player Andrey “Foggy” Koren for advice.
