Danil “donk” Kryshkovets, a CS2 player for Team Spirit, shared his overall positive impression of the PGL Astana 2025 tournament organization. In an interview given during Vyacheslav “Buster” Leontyev`s stream after Team Spirit reached the final, donk mentioned that his team encountered an unfortunate incident during the championship.
The execution [of the tournament] is very good, everything is maximally welcoming, nothing to fault. Only the climate, the heat, that`s very tough. There were also certain things that happened specifically with us, which I think are better left unsaid, things that damaged the tournament`s vibe. Because what happened there was truly lawless. But I think the organization or one of the guys [from the team] will speak about this.
PGL Astana 2025 is being held in Kazakhstan from May 10 to 18. The participating teams are competing for a total prize pool of $625,000. Team Spirit recently secured their spot in the final by defeating FURIA 2-1, with map scores of 7:13 on Train, 13:9 on Nuke, and 13:7 on Mirage. Donk`s team is now set to face Astralis in the grand final.
