DreamLeague Season 26: BetBoom Team’s Playoff Fate Unclear, Aurora Faces Tiebreakers

The second stage of DreamLeague Season 26 for Dota 2 is drawing to a close on May 29th. Heading into the final round, the group situation is quite complicated. The concluding match holds no tournament significance for only three teams: PARIVISION, which has already secured first place, and Team Liquid along with Nigma Galaxy, who are already eliminated.

What are the potential scenarios for the remaining teams in the final round, and should we anticipate tiebreakers? Let`s break down the possibilities.

This outcome, despite the close standings, is probable and would occur under the following condition:

Tiebreakers will also be avoided if Talon loses and BetBoom Team secures a win.

In this scenario, PARIVISION and Talon (or BetBoom Team) would advance to the upper bracket, while Aurora and BetBoom Team (or Talon) would head to the lower bracket. The remaining teams would be eliminated.

The most likely scenario involves tiebreakers for a single upper bracket slot. These tiebreakers could potentially involve two, three, or even four teams.

DreamLeague Season 26 takes place from May 19th to June 1st. Teams are competing for a total prize pool of $750,000 and 29,200 EPT points.
