PARIVISION`s support player, Andrei “Dukalis” Kuropatkin, commented on their match against Team Tidebound during the first round of the PGL Wallachia Season 4 Dota 2 playoffs. He shared his perspective in an interview on the official English broadcast of the tournament.
It was a normal game, just like all our other matches. After the first map, we only discussed one of our mistakes, so overall, yeah, it was a standard game.
Kuropatkin also shared his thoughts on teams attempting to replicate PARIVISION`s playstyle.
It seems a lot of teams are trying to copy what we do. For instance, people are picking Brewmaster and Slark, but it just doesn`t work for them, which is amusing to see. It`s fine if they pick heroes that I, DM, or someone else on the team plays well, but when they try to imitate the Slark pick, I`m not so sure. Every game I see with Slark played as a position four looks like a clown show. The only exception is when 9Class plays the hero; he`s genuinely great on it.
PARIVISION and Team Tidebound faced off in the first round of the upper bracket playoffs at PGL Wallachia Season 4. The CIS-based squad secured a dominant 2-0 victory in the series.
