Dyrachyo on Team Falcons’ CS2 Major Performance

Dota 2 professional player Anton “dyrachyo” Shkredov offered his perspective on Team Falcons` performance at the PGL Major Copenhagen 2024.

He suggested that the team`s struggles stemmed from heightened self-expectations and immense pressure.

“I think the team was affected by their own inflated expectations and excessive pressure,” dyrachyo stated. “Falcons showed incredible results in recent tournaments, which perhaps led to underestimating opponents. After a few failures, players developed doubts and communication problems, which affected their gameplay. I feel very sorry for Ilya, I worry about him and would like to see him on stage.”

Team Falcons` run ended with a 1:2 defeat against MIBR in the fourth round of the second group stage. Their only win at this stage came against OG.

This early exit resulted in Falcons finishing the tournament in 20th-22nd place, securing $10,000 in prize money. Dyrachyo`s mention of “Ilya” likely refers to Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov, a prominent player in the CS2 scene, though m0NESY is not on Team Falcons.
