EA Sports College Football 26 Gameplay Trailer Revealed

EA Sports has unveiled the inaugural official trailer for its highly anticipated college football title, EA Sports College Football 26. The trailer provides a first look at new features and gameplay elements players can expect.

The reveal confirms that College Football 26 will include thousands of actual college athletes and over 300 authentic coaches from all 136 FBS universities, featuring prominent names like Dan Lanning, Kirby Smart, and James Franklin. EA Sports also stated that the game incorporates more than 2700 new plays, aiming to deliver an unparalleled level of authenticity in the virtual college football experience.

Significant gameplay enhancements include a revamped Stadium Pulse system, which introduces dynamic crowd-driven challenges and effects, such as screen shake and clock distortion, during intense rivalry and playoff games. The game will also feature a new online competitive mode called Road to the College Football Playoff, alongside the returning and popular College Football Ultimate Team mode.

The franchise originated in 1993 with the release of Bill Walsh College Football. It continued with annual releases, primarily under the NCAA Football name, until 2013. The series took an 11-year break after the NCAA chose not to extend its licensing partnership with EA, following legal disputes regarding the use of player likenesses. The hiatus concluded last year with the launch of EA Sports College Football 25, which featured Quinn Ewers, Travis Hunter, and Donovan Edwards on its cover.

EA Sports College Football 26 is set to launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms on July 10, 2025. Players who purchase a bundle including the upcoming Madden NFL 26 will receive three days of early access to the game.
