EA Sports has officially announced the release date and further information about their upcoming racing game, F1 25. The game is set to launch on May 30, 2025, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Following the announcement of Lewis Hamilton as the cover star for the Iconic Edition, EA Sports also revealed the drivers gracing the Standard Edition cover. These include McLaren`s Oscar Piastri, Williams` Carlos Sainz, and Haas` rookie Oliver Bearman.
Fans of the story mode will be pleased to know that Braking Point will continue with its third chapter. Braking Point 3 will follow the fictional team Konnersport as they aim for championship glory. The single-player mode in F1 25 will offer adjustable difficulty settings, catering to both new players and experienced veterans.
The popular My Team mode is also undergoing a significant revamp, focusing more on team management aspects. Players will have increased responsibilities and can participate in races as either of their team`s drivers. Visual enhancements are also expected with improvements to several tracks.
Pre-orders for F1 25 are now open, offering various incentives. Early purchasers of the Standard Edition will receive the F1 75 Celebration Pack, F1 World Starter Pack, and 5,000 PitCoin. Iconic Edition pre-orders include in-game liveries from the current F1 season in F1 24, Hamilton-themed items, and post-launch story content featuring the APXGP team from Apple`s upcoming F1 movie. Iconic Edition owners will also gain early access to the game starting May 27, 2025.
Furthermore, domestic pre-orders of the Iconic Edition will also include a complimentary one-month subscription to F1 TV.
