EA Sports has released a significant seasonal update for EA Sports FC 25 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch. This update includes various gameplay adjustments, bug fixes, and a complimentary, limited version of the game.

This free edition, known as FC 25 Showcase, is accessible on all platforms except Switch. It provides a changing selection of content from the complete game. Game modes such as Kick Off, Club Rush, and Learn To Play are featured, showcasing teams from the German Bundesliga and Frauen-Bundesliga. The initial content rotation is scheduled to conclude on April 2.

FC 25 Showcase supports crossplay across all compatible platforms, enabling users of the free version to engage with players of the full game in the available modes. Furthermore, it’s straightforward to upgrade from Showcase to the full game, with all in-game progress being preserved.

This addition is part of Title Update 10 for EA FC 25, which brings numerous gameplay enhancements and additional content.

In response to community feedback regarding shooting mechanics, EA has implemented the Low Driven Shot PlayStyle. This enhancement improves shot precision, ball speed, and player responsiveness, aiming to make accurately placed, short-press shots more consistent.

Balance adjustments have been made to full-power Precision Lob Passes, decreasing their accuracy, and to clearance headers, enhancing their precision. Gameplay issues addressed include AI defenders’ inaction towards ball carriers and resolving incorrect animations for goalkeeper saves in specific scenarios.

The update, titled Legends Return, enriches Football Ultimate Team (FUT) with new content. Iconic AS Roma figures Seydou Doumbia, Victor Ibarbo, and Gervinho are introduced as Streets Won’t Forget cards on March 14, obtainable through Objectives and Evolutions. Additionally, FUT Birthday Hero versions of these players will be available in FUT packs.

German soccer legend Franz Beckenbauer will be featured as an Icon card starting March 21 as part of the UEFA Dreamchasers campaign. On April 4, the FUT Immortals campaign will introduce another iteration of legendary players to the game.

EA has also announced the upcoming introduction of Super Sub Players. These items will offer full Chemistry and improved Role Familiarity when brought into play in the second half of matches.

This season also includes the addition of Canada’s women’s national team, the return of the classic teams in Kick Off mode, an increased level cap and new facilities for clubs, and updates to the Career Mode UI and Player Career Icon selection. Visual improvements and new superfans in pre-match sequences complete Title Update 10.
