Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition, announced for the upcoming Switch 2 console, will include additional content. This information was revealed during the Nintendo Direct event on April 2nd.
The Tarnished Edition will feature the base game, the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, and new content. This new content includes customization options for armor, weapons, and Torrent, the player`s mount. While specific details are not yet available, it is known that the Tarnished Edition will also be released on other platforms.
Elden Ring was originally released in February 2022 and has sold over 25 million copies. The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion was released on June 21st, 2024.
