eSpoiled Releases Statement Regarding Controversial Match Against Nemiga in TI14 Qualifiers

Representatives of eSpoiled have issued a statement regarding the unusual circumstances surrounding their loss on the second map of their match against Nemiga Gaming in the closed qualifiers for The International 2025 in Dota 2. The team`s official position was shared on their social media channels.

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Yo, eSpoiled here.

1) we made Dota history and no one will argue with that. *** the game while the opponent`s throne was falling is huge.

2) regarding 322 accusations: in 48 hours we played 23 official matches, and during the morning 25th map, we (just like Nemiga) were not watching their throne during the crucial fight for our own, this is normal and it happens.

3) to anyone who thinks it`s normal to harass a manager for trying to defend their team, even emotionally, please don`t forget: you breathe and blink automatically, and your tongue is always uncomfortably placed.

All the best, don`t be ***, cheer for eSpoiled.

On the second map of the series, eSpoiled called `GG` (Good Game), but only moments later, Nemiga`s Ancient (throne) was destroyed by creeps. Following a review by the referees, victory for the map was awarded to Nikita `young G` Bochko`s team.

Analysis of the game replay shows that eSpoiled`s offlaner seemingly observed enemy creeps attacking the T4 towers. While the player was dead (in the fountain/tavern), they reportedly checked the opponent`s base multiple times and even pinged it for their teammates.

Earlier, eSpoiled`s manager, Tatiana `Poppy_Bo` Zhuravleva, had also commented on the incident, defending her players` actions.

eSpoiled and Nemiga Gaming faced off in the first round of the lower bracket in the Eastern Europe closed qualifiers for The International 2025. The series concluded with a 0:2 scoreline in favor of Nemiga, resulting in Vyacheslav `asdekor_r` Ignatyev`s team being eliminated from the tournament.
