Esports World Cup 2025 to Feature Prize Pool Exceeding $70 Million, Up From 2024

The organizers of the Esports World Cup 2025 have announced a total prize pool of over $70 million. The announcement was made on the tournament`s X page.

The majority of the prize money, $38 million, will be distributed among the esports athletes. An additional $27 million is allocated for the club championship. $450,000 will be awarded to the most valuable players of the competitions, and more than $5 million is designated for all qualifications and qualifying tournaments. In 2024, the total prize pool for EWC was $60 million. Half of that amount was awarded to the competitors, $20 million went to clubs, the most valuable players shared $1.1 million, and $7.5 million was paid out in qualifications.

The Esports World Cup 2025 will take place in Saudi Arabia from July 4th to August 24th. The event will span seven weeks and feature competitions across 24 disciplines. The organizers have not yet announced the prize pool distribution for specific championships.
