In a decisive victory at the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 CS2 tournament, Eternal Fire has secured a place in the playoffs by defeating G2 Esports. The match, played in the upper bracket of Group B, concluded with a 2-0 scoreline. Eternal Fire demonstrated strong performances on both Anubis and Inferno, winning both maps with a 13-10 score.
As a result of this defeat, G2 Esports, including star player Ilya `m0NESY` Osipov, will now compete in the lower bracket of the tournament.
Looking ahead, Eternal Fire is scheduled to play their next match on March 24th against the winner of the match between Natus Vincere and The Mongolz. The winning team from that upcoming match will advance to the semi-finals of the BLAST Open Lisbon 2025.
The BLAST Open Lisbon 2025 event is being held from March 19th to 30th in Copenhagen and Lisbon, featuring a total prize pool of $400,000.
