F1 25 Update 1.03: Bug Fixes and Stability Improvements

EA Sports has released the v1.03 update for F1 25, now available across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This latest patch aims to address numerous issues within the game.

A key fix in the update tackles visual glitches related to light rain, which previously could confuse players by making a damp track appear dry – a significant problem in a racing simulation.

Balancing adjustments have also been made, particularly in the Driver Career mode. The fictional Konnersport and APXGP teams were found to be receiving an excessive amount of resources early in the season, giving them an unfair advantage over real-world teams. While these teams won`t lose points in ongoing saves, their resource acquisition rates have been adjusted to ensure fairer competition over time.

Players who encountered unexpected track limit penalties at iconic circuits like Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium may be relieved to learn it wasn`t necessarily their driving skill at fault. The update corrects incorrectly positioned trackside markings at Spa and the Miami circuit, which could have misled drivers about available track space. Both tracks have also received general surface improvements.

For a complete breakdown of all the changes included in this patch, see the detailed notes below:
