Faker on Choosing a LoL Champion for a Series: “It’s Like Asking an Iron Player How to Play LoL Well”

T1 mid-laner Lee Sang-hyeok, better known as Faker, stated that he isn`t ready to name a League of Legends champion who deserves their own television series or show.

“I know a lot about League of Legends champions in terms of their abilities. But overall, I don`t know much about them in general. I`m not familiar with their background or lore. And I don`t know anything about TV shows. So for me, it`s like asking an `Iron` ranked player how to play LoL well,” he explained. When asked if he could choose a champion based on the best splash art, Faker admitted he doesn`t pay much attention to splash arts either, but chose Ahri because he participated in the creation of her appearance.

Recently, Faker became the first esports player in League of Legends to achieve 200 victories in international tournaments.
