Team Falcons coach, Danny “zonic” Sørensen, has addressed the recent rumors regarding the potential addition of Ilya “m0NESY” Osipov and Maxim “kyousuke” Lukin to their Counter-Strike 2 roster. In response to these speculations, zonic stated that he is currently prioritizing the ongoing tournament and not focusing on roster changes.
“I don’t really pay attention to rumors. Rumors are rumors. I am focused on the tournament we are participating in,” zonic commented.
Zonic also provided insights into the team`s performance at PGL Bucharest 2025. He suggested that the team`s struggles are partly due to the pressure from fans, analysts, and commentators, given the high expectations surrounding Team Falcons.
“It feels like the team has lost confidence. We are not hearing each other, and it seems like players have many other things on their minds. Part of it is probably because of the pressure. We are a very discussed team. Of course, this is because Falcons is a team with big ambitions, and with that comes great pressure.”
Prior to these rumors, Falcons had signed Nikola “NiKo” Kovac. The current speculation about m0NESY and kyousuke suggests possible further roster adjustments before the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025.
