Fame Discusses s1mple’s Temporary CS2 Comeback

Virtus.pro CS2 player Petr “fame” Bolyshev recently shared his thoughts on the return of legendary sniper Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev to the professional scene. Fame expressed belief in the success of s1mple`s temporary stint with FaZe Clan.

[Question: `What do you think about s1mple`s return?`] It seems this isn`t a full return yet? A loan, as I understand it, for the remaining two tournaments. Sasha is a sharp guy, he`s got experience, as they say. You can`t lose experience. He needs to regain, I think, his individual form. I believe he`s capable of playing at the highest level if he trains a lot and gets back into the tournament rhythm and flow. Plays, practices, and so on.

On May 5, FaZe Clan announced that Oleksandr “s1mple” Kostyliev would temporarily replace Helvijs “broky” Saukants. Kostyliev remains under contract with Natus Vincere but joined FaZe on a temporary loan. He is set to represent the European squad only at IEM Dallas 2025 and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. Commenting on his return, Kostyliev stated: “This time I won`t [fail].”
