The first trailer for the horror film “Five Nights at Freddy`s 2,” based on the video game Five Nights at Freddy’s, has been unveiled. The premiere of the horror movie is scheduled for December 5, 2025.
“Five Nights at Freddy`s” achieved the highest opening weekend box office for a horror film in 2023, grossing $78 million. Its closest competitor, “Scream 6,” earned $44.4 million in its opening weekend. The film also became the second-largest release among video game adaptations, only surpassed by “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” ($146 million). The total box office for the adaptation reached $291 million, setting a record for Blumhouse studio.
The premiere of “Five Nights at Freddy`s” took place in October 2023. The film received ratings of 5.5 out of 10 from users and 5.8 out of 10 from visitors of a movie website.
