Brazilian esports organization FURIA Esports has announced a change to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. Felipe “skullz” Medeiros has been moved from the active lineup, with Marek “YEKINDAR” Galinskis taking his spot. The team shared this update via their official page on the social media platform X.
In the official statement, FURIA referred to YEKINDAR as a “replacement” specifically for the upcoming PGL Astana 2025, IEM Dallas 2025, and BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 tournaments. The organization did not provide details on whether YEKINDAR`s tenure with the team will extend beyond these events. Skullz has been transferred to FURIA`s reserve roster and remains affiliated with the organization for now.
Medeiros had been a part of FURIA since July 2024. During his time with the squad, they secured a 5th-8th place finish at the Esports World Cup 2024, reached the top four at IEM Rio 2024, and participated in the Perfect World Shanghai Major 2024, among other significant competitions.
