According to the portal HLTV.org, Slovak player Matúš `matys` Šimko is being considered as a potential replacement for Janusz `Snax` Pogorzelski in the G2 Esports CS2 roster. The report cites the portal`s own sources.
Sources also indicate that G2 initially attempted to acquire Kacper `xKacpersky` Gabara from ENCE, but negotiations with the Finnish organization were unsuccessful. Although Snax served as the in-game leader, G2 Esports is currently looking for a standard rifler, as Nemanja `huNter-` Kovač is willing to take on the leadership role.
Currently, matys is an active player for Fnatic. He has been with the Swedish club since November 2023 and is the second longest-serving member of the current roster after Freddy `KRiMZ` Johansson.
