Esports organization G2 Esports is reportedly planning significant changes to its Counter-Strike 2 roster. The organization intends to appoint Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač as the new in-game leader (captain).
This potential leadership change suggests that the current captain, Janusz “Snax” Pogorzelski, will depart the team. Sources indicate that Kacper “xKacpersky” Gabara is one of the players being considered by G2 as a replacement for Snax during the upcoming offseason.
In further anticipated moves, Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia and coach Eetu “sAw” Saha are also expected to finalize their transfers to G2 soon. Both players have recently left the Heroic organization.
These rumored roster adjustments come after G2`s recent participation in the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. The team advanced to the fifth round of the third stage but was ultimately eliminated from playoff contention after a loss to The Mongolz.
