Gabe Follower Suggests Valve Is Interested in Acquiring Cache Map Rights

Counter-Strike 2 data miner Maxim “Gabe Follower” Poletaev has shared insights suggesting that Valve may be considering purchasing the rights to the popular competitive map, Cache. According to Gabe Follower, Valve appears interested in the map but potentially has reservations regarding its current technical condition.

He elaborated on possible scenarios, speculating that either Valve has already acquired the rights and intends to rework the map, or they were unable to reach a final agreement with the map`s creator, FMPONE. Gabe Follower stressed that his information is limited and should be treated as a rumor or speculation.

Previously, on March 3rd, FMPONE unveiled a new version of Cache. As of now, Valve has not made an official announcement regarding whether this updated version of the map will be added to the game`s official map pool rotation.
