Gameplay Video of Canceled Batman Project Sabbath Appears Online

A brief gameplay fragment from the canceled Batman project, reportedly known as Project Sabbath, has surfaced on the internet. The footage was uploaded to the YouTube channel Atomsmith. The video depicts a motorcycle pursuit sequence between Damian Wayne, who is portrayed as Batman, and Killer Croc. The hero is shown wearing a suit styled after the Batman Beyond look, while Croc`s appearance is reminiscent of his design from Arkham Origins.

Project Sabbath was reportedly being developed as a direct continuation of Batman: Arkham Knight but was ultimately canceled in favor of Gotham Knights. Rumors circulated that the unreleased game was planned to incorporate the Nemesis System mechanics, familiar from the Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Shadow of War series, which would have made the project particularly exciting for fans.

Previously, concept art from the game had already leaked online, showing characters such as Damian Wayne, Bruce Wayne, Killer Croc, and others. Despite the project`s cancellation, Warner Bros. Games has stated that it intends to continue expanding franchises related to Batman, Mortal Kombat, and Hogwarts Legacy.
