The developers of the popular browser-based geography game, GeoGuessr, have announced via their X account that the title will be featured at the Esports World Cup 2025.
This specific tournament, set to take place in Riyadh and officially named “GeoGuessr World Cup 2025 — Last Chance Wildcard,” will be an integral part of GeoGuessr`s official competitive season. The event will feature a prize pool of $20,000 and critically, will award the final two coveted spots for the main GeoGuessr World Cup 2025 finals, which are scheduled to be held in Denmark.
The Esports World Cup 2025 event itself is slated to run from July 4th to August 24th in Saudi Arabia. Over the course of seven weeks, the cup will host competitive tournaments across more than 20 different esports disciplines, boasting an impressive combined total prize pool of $70 million across all titles.
