HeavyGod Reveals Team’s Support for malbsMd’s Adaptation

Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko, a player for G2 Esports` Counter-Strike 2 team, shared his thoughts after their victory against The Mongolz at BLAST Open Lisbon 2025. He also commented on the performance of Mario “malbsMd” Samayoa.

[Question: “After losing to The Mongolz at EPL, what does it mean to take revenge in such an important game?”]

“We were well-prepared for this game. We know our capabilities, and we know we can be really strong. We believed in ourselves and got what we wanted.”

[Question: “Earlier, malbsMd mentioned that he had some confidence issues. What does the team do to take some pressure off his shoulders and help him regain form?”]

“I think everyone, from the team members to the staff, is trying to reduce the pressure so that he doesn`t feel it. Because he doesn`t need it. He needs to play his game and use his strengths.”

“We are all trying to tell him this every time. This is also a new role for him, so maybe he needs a little more time to adapt, but I think he`s doing great, and I know he will get better and better every time. I believe he is good at this.”

Earlier, Samayoa apologized to the team`s fans for his individual performance. The esports player stated that he is trying his best to get in top shape.
