Heroic`s new CS2 coach, Tobias “TOBIZ” Theo, has shared his perspective on building the current roster and discussed the team`s objectives for the second half of 2025.
I believe everything starts with selecting the right five players and building the team in terms of interaction, a shared goal, and understanding. Currently, we have five individually very strong players, and the task now is to unlock their potential and teach them to play as a cohesive unit. Hopefully, this will lead to new trophies. I believe we have all the `puzzle pieces`; we just need to assemble them correctly.
My primary objective for 2025 is to compete for trophies. Not just participating in the group stage, but reaching the playoffs and advancing as far as possible. Heroic needs to be a team that contends for titles again. At the very least, that`s what our team should strive for and what I will endeavor to achieve.
Heroic made changes to their CS2 roster after the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025. Coach Eetu Saha and AWPer Alvaro Garcia departed the team, and Yasin Koc was moved to the inactive roster. TOBIZ, Gleb Gazin, and Linus Bergman joined to fill these positions. The updated squad is scheduled to make its first appearance at FISSURE Playground #1.
