Dota 2 streamer Bogdan “Iceberg” Vasilenko has pledged to bring back his famous “maid” persona during a stream if Team Liquid, playing with stand-in Alik “V-Tune” Vorobey, manages to win the DreamLeague Season 26 tournament. He reportedly discussed this, along with possibilities for other costume appearances in future tournament broadcasts, during a stream hosted by Roman “RAMZES666” Kushnarev.
Iceberg: “If Alik [V-Tune] wins the tourney [DreamLeague S26], I`m ready to shave my eyebrows. No, no, no!”
Afoninje: “Perhaps it should be that maid again?”
V-Tune is participating in DreamLeague Season 26 as a stand-in for Team Liquid, replacing their regular carry player, Mike “miCKe” Wu, in the starting lineup for the European team. In the initial matches of the group stage, the squad`s performance included a defeat against BetBoom Team, a draw versus Xtreme Gaming, and a victory over Nigma Galaxy.
This isn`t the first instance of Iceberg making a significant public promise tied to tournament outcomes. He previously shaved his head completely after expressing doubt about Liquid`s chances at PGL Wallachia Season 4. Furthermore, Vasilenko famously wore the maid costume on stream in 2020 following a different lost bet. At that time, the condition was for him to reach the top 10 of the European ladder within a specific timeframe; he failed to meet the deadline and subsequently fulfilled the promise.
